Electric Guitar Repair Service available.

Acomb Music Online is able to offer a repairs and setup service for electric guitars and electric basses.

The repairs offered include wiring repairs, repirs to crackling pots, re-stringing and tuning, and set ups.

Prices start from just £10.

This service is local to York, and does not include any collection costs. Clearly restringing a strat is going to cost less than a full set up on a seven string locking tremeloed beastie, so contact me for an estimate prior to the repair.

Please note, I am not able to offer fret dressing or fret replacement as a service.

ACOMB MUSIC STORE CLOSES ON OCTOBER 31st.

After ten years on the high street, Acomb Music closed at the end of October. The Front Street store provided great goods and services over the years, and the online version will continue to do the same. Thank you to all my customers, colleagues, friends, and family who have supported the store over the last ten years. The future promises to be brighter.

Stones Music Guitar Strap Steals the Show at Olympic Closing Ceremony

Well, did you see it? Just before Beckham kicked that ball into the crowd, the sides fell off that London Bus and then Leona Lewis appeared out of the bus on a big pole and then, and I quote, "the legendary Jimmy Page", appeared on a platform playing his Les Paul guitar in what must have been the most-watched version of 'Whole Lotta Love' in history - around 100,000 in the stadium, and hundreds of millions of TV viewers around the world, not to mention the billions of people like me who missed it but can still watch it on BBC iPlayer on this link

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00ct027/ - (check out the bit from 2h10m to 2h18m)

So you wouldn't want anything to go wrong, would you? You're up there playing one of the world's most valuable guitars and I'm pleased to say that his trusty Stones Music GSL5 leather linkstrap was there to offer support in the only way it can. In fact, I'm thinking of renaming it "the Olympian" - that's got more of a ring to it than the GSL5, hasn't it?

You can buy these now famous straps by clicking on the "Straps" tab on the homepage. Price includes UK delivery.
